The PFAN-Asia program aims to assist businesses and investors in 12 countries across Asia to mobilize and scale up investments in clean energy by facilitating access to financing.The workshop aims to raise awareness among professional sectors about clean energy production and energy efficiency. It will highlight the current Cambodian clean energy environment and business opportunities.
Local project developers will be introduced to energy companies (solar, biomass, mini-hydro and others), service providers and potential investors. Policy makers and industry experts including government officials and representatives from international organizations will also be invited to enrich the workshop sessions with their valuable inputs.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for clean energy developers such as from different sectors including Independent Power Producers (IPPs), hotels and/or factories to exchange with the actors essential for the good realization of their energy projects:
- Energy solutions providers with operational facilitates to provide technical solutions.
- Financial institutions to provide insights on different types of possible financing strategies.
This workshop's main goal is to facilitate the emergence of new clean energy projects in Cambodia.
