Purpose of the job:

To facilitate, coordinate, professionalize  and build up stronger team in the field of Hospitality and Tourism in order to become a first leading institution. And all students can get better-paid job and more professional not only in Cambodia but also in the region.

Activities and responsibilities:

  • Study program:
    • Study program:
  • Work with the steering committee of the school to look for more opportunities in adapting the program to the real market need.
  • Work with the team to create the standard program to be recognized by the nation as the leading practical learning institution.
  • Benchmark the school program to international training institutions which will bring the whole team to become professional educator in the field of business.
  • Competency and Curriculums:
    • Identify and Edit the competency of school by benchmarking the competency standard as international skills in the field of Hospitality and Tourism (MRA-TP from Level 1 to Level 5)
  • Consider to set up module based course in which trainees are able to have flexible way to be in Training program at any time for shorter period with longer way for their future.
  • Enable team in capacity of writing curriculum to adapt to developing market both locally and regionally.
  • Unit and Lessons must be put in good structure for students in different skills to catch up easily and stay motivated to learn as well.
  • Practical Activities:
  • Make sure the Restaurant and Hotel activities are well prepared to train and show the students how to be skilled trained people with working ethics.
  • Sequences of practical activities are well planned with clear Pedagogy objective
  • Safety and security for students and staff must apply strictly to every one.
  • Project Management
  • External projects with partners:
  • Communicate to potential clients by promoting the services such as market survey, market analysis, accounting set up and other relevant to course programin order that they can both learn and get benefit for school as well.
  • Green School project:
  • Allocate the time slot for students to be more participative in the green project every week.
  • Make your school become green and proper.
  • Involve students in understanding the important of helping each other based on volunteering.
  • Let students initiate new ideas in doing community Community Service Learning:
    • services.
    • Identify a clear teaching schedule and conduct regular class observations.
    • Control working hours and shifts
  • Write Job Descriptions for staffs and objectives as well if required
  • Coach subordinates to perform tasks which are used to be done not in proper way in order that they can make it better
  • Work with Student affaire and Admin office to deal with Admin job such as letters, HR procedure, Account procedure, and student recruitment process…
  • Work closer with student affairs for Student internships and agreements with companies.
  • Control conduct and discipline of students closely
  • Make sure that student use English during their study time.
  • Student promotion with Orientation and Social team must be proactive among each other within PSE and PSE Institute
  • Follow up student quality not only in School but also in apprentice system and internship area in company,
  • Make sure that every student signs agreement with us to share something to PSE as solidarity project after gradation.
  • Partnerships and Communication
  • Create partnerships in Education with other institutions and then prepare the official documents to be signed by the Director of PSE Institute, Dean, partnership office, and companies.
  • Keep relation with them with cooperation from student affairs office and Internship office of PSE Institute.
  • Keep updated information about existing companies and new companies through connection of Partnership and Fundraising office.
  • Communicate intra services of PSE and PSE Institute for relevant information you want which relate to your school.
  • Share update information about your school to student affairs, social team and company partners
  • Report to PSE I director regularly based on agreed schedule.
  • Meet with Director of PSE Institute every two weeks.

 

   
Requirements

Necessary educational and relevant personal background:

  • Recognized degree in related fields and experience 5 years in the fields of Business and Education
  • High level of English. Capacity to attend international meetings and presentations.
  • Five years experience in managing teams.
