Romina co-founded the Solar Energy Association Cambodia (SEAC) and is secretary in the board of directors. Next to this she has been active in the Greenbiz committee of Eurocham as head of the Renewable Energy subcommittee since 2015. In 2016 she was elected as the chairwoman of the Greenbiz committee. She currently works at Oxfam as advisor private sector and CSR. She manages the secretariat of the CSR platform Cambodia and the Cambodian project within the region wide gender sensitive and responsible agribusiness investments programme.  Next to this, she is trainer and country representative Cambodia for MDF training and consultancy


Educated in the Netherlands, Romina has a strong background in education management and research. She was a visiting scholar at Stanford University and finished her PhD research on teacher training in 2012. She came to Cambodia in 2012 as independent consultant in research and education before she became country director at PicoSol Cambodia, a knowledge centre in Renewable energy. In the AFD/SNV Green microfinance programme PicoSol Cambodia played an important role in the development of accreditation procedures and quality standards for the Good Solar initiative.
