MoU Signed with Mekong Trading Hungarian-Cambodian Trading House
On January 14 2016, EuroCham signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mekong Trading Hungarian-Cambodian Trading House, a cooperation partner of the Hungarian National Trading House.
The signature of this MoU demonstrates our common willingness to enhance commercial and economic ties between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Hungary. The MoU will also pave the way towards mutual support and experience sharing between EuroCham and the Mekong Trading in business related activities.
On the same occasion, Mekong Trading also signed MoUs with B2B, Cambodia Co., Ltd, PATA Cambodia Chapter, the Cambodia Hotels Association, the Cambodia Restaurants Association, the Cambodia Chefs Association and the Cambodia Chefs Federation.
It was stressed during the ceremony that economic sectors such as agro-industry, food processing and medical equipment were amongst the ones that could benefit from increased trade and investment between Hungary and Cambodia.
H.E. Mr. Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, and H.E. Ms Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State at the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, presided over the ceremony.
