GDCE announcement on procedures adjustment, especially regarding QIP


The General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia announces adjustments to a number of customs procedures and guidelines to benefit trade facilitation that apply to all Directors of Customs and Excise Departments, Branches and Offices.

Five particular instructions are named and refer to:

1. Labelling of any garment export products

2. Customs officers who are allowed to assign specific routes as requested by the good's bearer or declarer

3. The strengthening of effectiveness in cracking down on illegal import-export activities

4. QIP (Qualified Investment Project) regarding the import by businesses with QIP entitlement

5. Disclosure of work flow and work standard
