New “Wednesday Workshop Series” is launched
“The Presentation Clinic” brings international-level training directly to young Cambodians
PHNOM PENH, 23 November 2016
The Presentation Clinic has introduced a new series of workshops, specifically aimed at young Cambodian workers who struggle to access high-level corporate training. For just $95, workers in Phnom Penh can get intensive training in the fields of sales presentation, online media and leadership & management.
Andrew Barnes, director of The Presentation Clinic, says ambitious young Cambodians can now put themselves in the driving seat of their careers:
“As things stand, there are many young people working for companies for whom training & development is not a priority. In most cases, this is as a result of a lack of available funds, but at least now these workers can access corporate training independently.”
The Wednesday Workshops are held on the first Wednesday of each month, between 5.30 and 7.30pm, at The Presentation Clinic’s premises on Preah Sihanouk Boulevard. Barnes says people can register simply by sending a message through The Presentation Clinic’s Facebook page:
“We wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to attend. There are no complicated application forms, or minimum requirements. All that’s required is a basic understanding of English and an eagerness to learn. We priced the workshops at $95 to make them as affordable as possible. We’ve also scheduled them at 5.30pm so that people can head over to us straight after work.”
Barnes says December’s Wednesday Workshop is titled “Powerful Presentations” and is aimed at sales & marketing executives:
“Phnom Penh is home to legions of sales executives and many of them struggle to get their messages across. There is also a perceived lack of assertiveness and confidence. ‘Powerful Presentations’ aims to address these issues by teaching sales executives how to deliver with confidence, energy, enthusiasm and flair.”
Barnes says attendees are in for a highly-practical session that works with their current sales pitches:
“The Presentation Clinic is about rapid results. We want the two-hours to be highly-experiential and focused on outcomes. If it’s worth teaching, it’s worth teaching in as time-effective manner as possible. This is the same approach we take with all our clients.”
