April: Committee Updates
The Green Business Committee ExCom met twice for to finalize the preparation of Green Business Forum.
The newly established Wine & Spirits Committee met to discuss on their Advocacy work plan.
Human Resource Committee Chairman reported on the past year activities including three Breakfast Talks, the 2016 HR Forum and the White Book follow up. The Committee will elect its new chair in May.
April 3: G-PSF Working Group B Secretariat of Private Sector Meeting
Task Forces met to discuss ongoing challenges to the tourism and hospitality industry.
April 7: EuroCHam REC Committee
EuroCham REC Committee met the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction leadership to discuss EuroCham support to the elaboration of the Cambodia Building Code, the elaboration of a sub-decree on coastal development and the publication of worksite safety handbook.
April 11: Digital & New Technologies Committee
EuroCham Executive Team met with interested members willing to re-launch Digital & New Technologies Committee.
April 12: G-PSF Working Group D
G-PSF Working Group D Private Sector meeting to raise issues related to law, tax and governance.
April 20: Consultative Workshop on the Draft Law on Minimum Wage
April 24: Director General of Tourism
EuroCham Advocacy Team meeting with the Director General of Tourism to discuss progress of Government Private Sector Forum Working Group on Tourism
April 28: Healthcare Committee Chair
Meeting on cyber investigation and fight against illegal imports, counterfeits with the Healthcare Committee Chair and potential new members.
