What happened at the Annual General Meeting 2017

EuroCham’s 2017 Annual General Meeting saw reports of healthy financials, the election of a new Board of Directors, and the Chairman’s vision for “EuroCham 2020”, a financially sustainable Chamber that continually adds value to its membership.

Executive Director Ratana Phurik-Callebaut presented an activity report of the Chamber.

Some highlights:

  • Large increase in memberships (+77)
  • Expanded events program attracted over 4,000 attendees
  • EuroCham’s Advocacy program received a very satisfying 50% response rate to its first “White Book”, a collection of 59 policy proposals to the Royal Government
  • EuroCham’s Business Services division shows year-on-year revenue increases of 25%, indicating its status as a trusted market research provider
  • First full year of Outreach activities; promotion of Cambodia abroad through collaboration with regional partners, particularly in Laos and Myanmar
  • Introduction of new Nordic and Italian national chapters
