The Human Resources Committee consists of companies and professionals with a signifi-cant interest in the Human Resources sector. The Committee is a platform for information sharing and discussion, and concerns itself with matters that solely relate to human resources issues. The main objective is to improve the overall Human Resources situation in Cambodia, to draw public attention on issues that require urgent revision and to provide Cambodian authorities with relevant input. During committee meetings, the group comes up with recommendations which are for-warded to the relevant counterparts or included in position papers in order to prepare the Euro-Cham White Book. The Committee furthermore concerns itself with the organisation of the HR Forum and the Career Forum which are held annually.
Objectives
- Organise events and seminars benefiting Members and non-Members with regard to human resource management at firm-level and also market-level;
- Promote the activities of the Committee and EuroCham outside of Cambodia, in con-junction with other events such as trade delegations visiting Cambodia;
- Cooperate with other Committees within EuroCham and with other organisations and to promote EU human resource standards and services;
- Develop position papers and contribute to the European Chamber of Commerce White Book.
