Cashew & Pepper Exporter Matchmaking Session
GIZ – 2025
The Cambodian government is prioritising cashew nuts and pepper as key crops to boost value addition and agricultural exports. However, both sectors face limited local processing and certification capacity and limited access to the EU market. To help address this, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) organised the Cambodia Cashew and Pepper Trade Forum 2025 as a platform to connect producers, service providers, and international partners, and to support greater access to global markets.
As part of this initiative, EuroCham Cambodia helped GIZ organise a business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking session on 23 October 2025 at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh. EuroCham also supported the preparation of service provider lists, company contact lists, and event promotion. This event resulted in 92 B2B meetings, with an average participant feedback score of 4.06 out of 5 stars. Participants included cashew, pepper, and general producers, as well as service providers familiar with EU regulations.
