EuroCham Tax Forum 2026

About this event

The EuroCham Tax Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place in 25th June 2026 in Phnom Penh (venue to be confirmed), commencing at 8:30 AM. Organized by EuroCham Cambodia in close cooperation with the EuroCham Tax Committee, the Forum will be a full-day event concluding with a networking reception. Bringing together leading experts and senior representatives from the General Department of Taxation (GDT), tax advisory firms, private sector stakeholders, and other relevant institutions, the program is structured to provide participants with clear, authoritative insights, forward-looking policy perspectives, and practical takeaways that support informed decision-making relating to Taxation in Cambodia.

This year, the Forum will deliver an in-depth exploration of Cambodia’s ongoing efforts toward Economy Formalization, complemented by discussions of regulatory developments that shape the national tax landscape. To enhance engagement, the program will incorporate multiple breakout sessions featuring the most highly requested and voted-for topics in Cambodian taxation. These sessions will include capital gains tax, taxation on free goods/discounts, update on director salaries/shareholder premium, and double taxation agreements.

Designed as a platform for knowledge exchange, regulatory clarification, and stakeholder dialogue, the Tax Forum 2026 aims to foster a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s tax environment while supporting the country’s broader economic formalization agenda. Attendees will have opportunities not only to learn from experts but also to share experiences, raise questions, and contribute to ongoing conversations that influence the future of taxation in Cambodia.

The EuroCham Tax Forum 2026 seeks to achieve the following objectives:

  • To provide clear and up-to-date insights on recent tax regulations, policies, and administrative practices in Cambodia.
  • To facilitate constructive dialogue between the private sector and relevant government authorities, particularly the General Department of Taxation.
  • To support businesses in navigating compliance requirements and adapting to ongoing tax reforms.
  • To promote transparency, consistency, and mutual understanding in the interpretation and application of tax regulations.
