EuroCham cordially invites you to a Hybrid National Conference on Consumer Protection: Driving Cambodia Consumer First Environment – Progress & Achievements on 11 November 2021 via Zoom.

Through this conference, we aim to familiarise different stakeholders with the principles and main contents of the Consumer Protection Law, which includes the establishment of a National Commission for Consumer Protection (NCCP) and the National Consumer Protection Program (NCPP). 

The event will focus on encouraging responsible, fair, and ethical business practices by offering legal guidelines and successful company practices. For instance, there will be a panel discussion on the objectives & achievements of the NCCP, the challenges it foresees, and its next steps. This will be followed by a discussion on emerging e-commerce platforms – the opportunities they present to Cambodia, but also the risks they potentially pose to consumers. This hybrid conference will also showcase best practices and how consumer protection bodies act to solve real-world cases.
