Webinar on The Road to Energy Efficiency

About this event

Energy efficiency is at the heart of clean energy transitions and is one of the energy resources every country possesses. Strong energy efficiency provides lots of benefits; some of which involve reducing energy bills, lowering the level of global warming and climate change, and enhancing energy access. According to an International Energy Agency report from December 2020, global energy use and economic development have been decoupling, with GDP doubling between 1990 and 2018, whereas total energy supply (TES) grew by 59%. This shows the need of proper action for energy efficiency; especially when the world population and GDP keep increasing.

To respond to this issue, EuroCham Cambodia, in collaboration with the Cambodia Energy Efficiency Competition (CEE Comp), will host a webinar on “The Road to Energy Efficiency” on 13th August 2021, from 3PM. In this webinar, our expert panelists will cover energy efficiency in Cambodia at the time of COVID-19, success stories of energy efficiency from Cambodia and France, and a guide on energy saving tips for your offices and residence.
