Due to frequent changes to Cambodia’s tax framework, employees across all departments need a basic understanding of their tax responsibilities. In this context, Oxfam Cambodia sought a service provider to organise and deliver a Fair Tax Monitor training, enabling participants to assess the country’s tax system from a fairness perspective. 

EuroCham Cambodia partnered with ANANT Law Firm to deliver this tailored training at the Cambodiana Hotel on 8 December 2025. Led by Dr. Antoine Fontaine, the interactive session included presentations, case studies, and Q&A discussions, supported by detailed legal and tax-related materials. By the end of the session, 25 participants from Oxfam and its partner organisations had gained a clearer understanding of Cambodia’s tax framework, including the roles of the General Department of Taxation and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The average feedback score from participants was 4.3 out of 5 stars.
