On 17 October, EuroCham Chairman joined an EU-ABC mission to Brussels to meet with EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and convey the grave concerns of the European business community with regard to the possible revision of the EBA trade preferences granted to Cambodia by the European Union. Over the past months, EuroCham has actively advocatedagainst the possibility of suspending EBA, arguing that the consequences would be damaging to the Cambodian economy and society as well as to the businesses. EuroCham continues to monitor closely all development related to EBA and strongly advocate any possibility of suspending it.
