EuroCham held our 2nd Cambodian Insiders Luncheon – Green Business yesterday with H.E. Sok Khavan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Mines and Energy Cambodia.

His Excellency updated us on the COVID-19’s impact on power development plans along with the recent and upcoming policy changes on the energy sector in Cambodia, including the Power Development Master Plan 2020–2030, renewable energy project in 2040, and EAC regulations and procedures on solar power utilities.

Special thanks to Dr. Susanne Bodach, Chairwoman of the EuroCham Green Business Committee, for sharing informative updates on the impact of COVID-19 on Cambodia’s private sector and green business industry, as well as discussing policy recommendations on COVID-19 economic recovery and future ambitions toward cleaner energy.
