EuroCham Cambodia’s renowned CSR Awards are going through a name change to better align with our push towards overall business sustainability.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) are criteria used to measure a company’s overall sustainability, whereas Corporate social responsibility (CSR) describes a strategy or framework employed by businesses to have positive impact (you can read more on the difference between CSR and ESG here). As the leading foreign chamber in Cambodia, it is important we recognise those companies striving for more which is why we elected to make this change.
We are now accepting application untiil 3 September. Find the form of expression of interest below.

Who Can Join?
- EuroCham’s ESG Contest and Awards is open to all private-sector companies (EuroCham members and non-members) registered in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
- Individuals aged 18-25 are also eligible to apply for the ESG Youth Leader Awards.
- This contest is no longer open to NGOs or charity organisations.
- Applications will be screened by our team and, if necessary, our Ethics Committee, to confirm applying companies adhere to our standards
This year, there are five (5) main ESG Awards Categories:
1. ESG Environment Leader Award
Participants must demonstrate best practices in relation to at least one of any of the following: environmental management, emissions, energy efficiency, pollution prevention, biodiversity, climate change, water management, circular economy.
2. ESG Diversity, Equity & Social Leader Award
Participants must demonstrate best practices in relation to at least one of any of the following: working environment, non-discrimination and anti-harassment policy, fair treatment practices, gender diversity, equal remuneration, human rights, freedom of association, human capital development, talent attraction & retention, reskilling & upskilling, occupational health & safety, performance appraisal, labour working conditions, employee development, community contribution, health & safety, diversity & inclusion, human rights, value chain, suppliers.
3. ESG Industry Partnership Leader Award
Participants must demonstrate best practices in relation to at least one of any of the following: supplier partnership and collaboration, supply chain transparency, supply chain performance, and supplier assessment.
4. ESG Technology Leader Award
Participants must demonstrate best practices in relation to any technology, innovation, or research & development that prevent ESG related risks and capture ESG opportunities such as energy transition, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.
5. ESG Youth Leader Awards (18 to 25 years old)
Youth working on ESG projects or concepts as part of a university project or other noncompany-related setting. Unlike the other categories, applications under this category do not need to show real-life impact (but assumptions on impact if implemented should be described).
