EuroCham's Automotive Committee will host a Breakfast Talk on the Automotive Sector Outlook for 2025 and Beyond on Tuesday, 4 March 2025, aiming to foster greater information exchange and collaboration within the industry.
Representing European passenger vehicle companies—including importers, distributors of two, three, and four-wheelers, and component suppliers—the committee has been actively advocating for stronger consumer protection. A key focus has been urging the Royal Government of Cambodia to implement stricter homologation regulations for all distributors.
However, progress has been met with challenges, including ensuring a level playing field and improving price transparency. Additionally, foreign stakeholders have expressed concerns about the limited understanding of Cambodia’s automotive market, further complicating efforts to address these issues.
Through this discussion, the committee aims to bring industry players together, share insights, and explore solutions to drive the sector forward.
