The European Union (EU) is one of Cambodia’s most important export destinations. However, the EU Green Deal introduces new sustainability standards that will reshape market access for Cambodian products in the near future.
Exporters in Cambodia must be aware of evolving regulations such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
