About the Course  

This course consists of a two-day workshop on Modern Excel, incorporating formulas, automation tools such as Power Query, time-saving tricks, Excel’s built in AI features, PivotTables/dashboards for analytics, and much more to accelerate you into being more skilled and productive.  

 

Course Objectives  

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:  

• Use Power Query and macros to automate data transformations  
• Use modern functions: XLOOKUP, TEXTJOIN, SWITCH, IF, UNIQUE, VSTACK  
• Understand why many older tools have now been replaced with more modern versions like VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE & PivotTables  
• Clean up data with advanced copy/paste tricks, auto-highlights and data validation  
• Analyse data using GROUPBY, PivotTables, charts and interactive dashboards  
• Understand built in AI (Flash fill, auto-analyse data) vs the paid Copilot  
• Build robust tables with the rarely used “Format as table” feature  
• Use keyboard shortcuts and other time-saving tricks 

 

Who is this course for?  

This masterclass is aimed at people who use Excel for 3 or more hours per week and wish to incorporate modern Excel’s most powerful features into their regular work.
