On 6 February, EuroCham is hosting a breakfast talk on the recent growth and outlook of Cambodia’s economy with a special guest speaker from The World Bank.
The event will focus on the findings of the November 2019 edition of the Cambodia Economic Update. Additionally, the presentation will also provide a review of the latest economic developments for 2019 and the outlook for 2020 with a focus on Cambodia’s growth, trade, and investment trends, as well as the latest fiscal and monetary developments. Likewise, It will include some of the emerging risks for Cambodia’s outlook in the context of a changing global environment.
At the end of the presentation, attendees will also have the chance to engage with the expert via our interactive Q&A session. So make sure to come with your key questions.

Keynote Speaker
Ms. Claire H. Hollweg – Senior Economist of the World Bank
Ms. Claire H. Hollweg is a Senior Economist in Cambodia in the East Asia and Pacific region of the Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank. She joined the World Bank in 2011 in the Trade and Regional Integration Unit. She received her PhD and MA in economics from the University of Adelaide. Before studying economics, she worked as a Journalist in newspaper and radio.
