Buildings play a significant role in our daily lives. We spend most of our time inside them - and even more so during the Covid-19 pandemic. Given we spend so much time inside, it, therefore, makes sense that the quality of the built environment can have a direct impact both on mental and physical health.

As lockdown restrictions lift, and employees begin to return to the office, many businesses are preparing their workplace to provide a healthier, safer, and more attractive environment for their staff to return to.

To address this topic, on 9th June 2021, EuroCham is hosting a webinar on “Healthy Buildings: Integrating Health & Wellness into the Built Environment” via Zoom.

In this webinar, our panelists will share the importance of designing, constructing and operating a healthy building. You will be provided with actionable frameworks that can improve building standards, as well as case studies and recommendations for making your workplace a more attractive place to return to post-lockdown.

Dr. Susanne BODACH is an international sustainability expert with working experience in South-America, the Middle East, South-Asia and Southeast Asia. She is an architect with a Master degree in Resources Management and holds an PhD degree in Sustainable Buildings from Technical University of Munich. She has over 15 years of working experience with research institutions, development agencies and private sector companies. Susanne is managing director of BEE Incorporation in Cambodia. BEE Incorporations is a multi-national consultancy company headquartered in Asia that delivers sustainability solutions for green and healthy buildings worldwide. BEE delivered over 500 certified Green Building projects in 30 countries. She has been recently elected as the Green Business Committee's Chairwoman of EuroCham Cambodia since May 2021.

Alessandro Bisagni is the Founder & President of BEE Incorporations, an international sustainability engineering consulting and technology company specializing in the creation of green and healthy buildings. Alessandro’s mission is to leverage business to do good. This includes educating corporations about tangible ways to build, renovate, and operate spaces sustainably while also helping advance sustainability in our urban environment. Over his career he has managed more than 400 green building projects across 30+ countries. Alessandro has multiple IWBI Leadership Awards for his work on the WELL Building Standard, a Living Future Hero award, and designated as LEED Fellow by USGBC – one of only a handful in Asia.

Carlos Estevez is the Director of Factory Phnom Penh. With a multicultural background in leadership, his career expands over several industries including; education, community service, health & fitness. Carlos has worked overseas for the last decade in Mumbai India, Singapore, and for 7 years in Cambodia. His excellent interpersonal & management skills enable him to diligently lead Factory Project. He is passionate about helping his team to work efficiently, delivering the best customer experience, and providing support to the Factory Community and visitors.

Mr. Svein Johan Stub, General Manager of Jotun Cambodia

Mr. Svein Johan Stub, General Manager of Jotun Cambodia

Svein Johan is educated in International Trade in addition to Military Officer Academy followed by a long service as an operative and an officer. He has been working in the fishing and export business of fish, mainly Norwegian Salmon, then moving over to work many years in a multinational company within the FMCG, where he worked with Marketing and Brand Management, then moving over to sales. Started in Jotun in 2011 and since 2017, Svein has been the General Manager for Jotun (Cambodia) Ltd.
