In partnership with the Cambodia Ministry of Commerce, the EU-ASEAN Business Council and EuroCham Cambodia are organising the 2022 Siem Reap ASEAN - EU Policy Dialogue on the afternoon of Sunday, September 18th, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 11:40 PM at Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center. In addition to this, there will be a "Meeting the Leader" networking event on Saturday September 17th, 2022 from 18: 30 PM – 21: 00 PM at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort.

The EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) is the primary voice for European business within the ASEAN region. It is formally recognised by the European Commission and accredited under Annex 2 of the ASEAN Charter as an entity associated with ASEAN. The Council currently represents 64 companies and organisations, including some of the largest European MNCs and the nine European Chambers of Commerce in ASEAN.

Attendees to this key ASEAN business event will include leaders of multinational European companies in ASEAN, senior policymakers from the EU and ASEAN, as well as potentially some of the ASEAN Economic Ministers and Cambodian government representatives. The event is aligned with the 2022 EU ASEAN Business Summit, which will be held in Brussels in December. Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen has been invited to attend that event alongside other ASEAN leaders.
