Explanatory Note on EuroCham BoD Structure & Representation Update

On March 3rd, CCIFC held an AGM over which they renewed their Board of Directors, including their 2 appointed seats at EuroCham BoD. Cyril Girot (CCIFC vice-chair) and Sylvain Ung (treasurer) were replaced by Arnaud Darc (CCIFC vice-chair) and Pascal Catry (Board member). This update left one vacant position: Treasurer.

On March 11th, Gabriele Faja (Chairperson and ItaCham representative) and Liubov Popova (Secretary General) announced their resignation for personal reasons, to be effective after the BoD planned on March 19th. This update left three vacant positions: Chairperson, ItaCham representative, and Secretary General. Although two BoD exited the board, only one BoD position was open for election (Liubov Popova’s) as one of them was an ItaCham appointed seat (Gabriele Faja).

On March 13^th, a call for interest to replace Liubov Popova was shared publicly.

On March 19^th, the BoD voted from amongst the 5 eligible candidates through an anonymous online voting platform and elected Narath Chheav (RULE) as BoD member. Cédric Kang was appointed as treasurer during the same meeting. Gabriele Faja & Liubov Popova formally exited the BoD following the BoD meeting.

On 26 March 2026, EuroCham adopted new statutes removing the permanent BritCham Board seat within the Executive Committee. As a result, the total number of Board members decreased from 13 (12 + 1, following the addition of the ItaCham representative in 2025) back to 12.

ItaCham appointed Zoe Hoang as its new representative to replace Gabriele Faja. She joins the BoD but does not hold an executive position.

Following the AGM, the BoD elected a new Chairperson and Secretary General from among its members. Antoine Fontaine was elected as Secretary General. Tassilo Brinzer was elected as Chairperson, leaving the GBC representative position vacant. GBC subsequently appointed Thomas Hundt as their Vice-chair representative.
