About EuroCham Cambodia:  

EuroCham Cambodia was founded in 2011 by the existing French, German and British business associations to act as the official chamber of the European business community in the Kingdom. Since then, it has grown to over 400 members and 7 national chapters, comprising 23 European countries. EuroCham Cambodia's core activities are to promote, support, and represent its members and European business interests in dialogue with the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the aim of developing a more efficient and fertile business and investment environment. 

 

Position summary 

EuroCham Cambodia is seeking a motivated and dedicated Advocacy Intern to join the Advocacy Department. This role is a fully functional position, specifically focused on supporting the Real Estate & Construction Committee. Working closely with the Advocacy Officer and the team, you will be involved in the entire range of committee activities, gaining hands-on experience in administration, high-level event organization, policy document writing, and the coordination of public consultations with governmental stakeholders. 

Responsibilities  

  • Committee Administration: Managing the daily operations of the Real Estate & Construction Committee, including maintenance of the CRM, organizing committee meetings, and accurately drafting the official meeting minutes. 

  • Event Management: Coordinating tasks related to various events, which involves inviting and coordinating with event speakers, drafting event concept notes, and managing event agendas. 

  • Governmental Consultation Coordination: Assisting in the coordination of high-level governmental consultations, including drafting the consultation agenda, preparing speaking points for participants, and establishing participation lists. 

  • Financial Facilitation: Serving as a liaison between Committee members and EuroCham Cambodia’s Finance Department to facilitate the collection and tracking of Committee fees. 

 

Requirements

  • Must have completed at least two years of a Bachelor’s degree program. 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in English, both in professional writing and speaking. 

  • Prior relevant work experience is not required but will be valued.
