The European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) is the largest foreign business association within Cambodia, currently representing over 400 members. EuroCham has a mandate to represent European organizations and entrepreneurs living and working in Cambodia vis-à-vis the Royal Government through a range of advocacy initiatives, outreach activities, and business support services.
As part of our support services to address business skills gaps and build staff capacities, EuroCham is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Training Officer to join our team. The Training Officer will play a crucial role in building an annual training pipeline and delivering a series of public, tailored, and co-financed training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of professionals in Cambodia’s business community, as well as supporting the service department on other tasks (market research, organization of trade missions, etc.).
Training Lead (60%)
Leading the development of the EuroCham Training Academy Program; identifying new potential training topics, and trainers, launching communications for various training, and being responsible for the training logistics (invoicing, on-site facilitation, customer relations).

Develop a pipeline of training and the related communications plan, including co-financed training proposals with the Skills Development Fund (SDF)

Report profit & loss of each training to hit revenue targets

Maintain a training dashboard for trainer feedback

Manage trainer relations and trainer contracts

Work closely with the Finance department to issue timely invoices

Work closely with the Communications department to promote the training programs

Able & flexible to run & facilitate the training in a professional manner

Manage customer expectations for training

Report directly to the Services Coordinator on targets/strategies, and work collaboratively to enhance training offers
Business Services (30%)

Supporting service projects (desk research, B2B meeting organization, interviews, etc.)
General Support (20%)

Other tasks as necessary, including drafting or proofreading Khmer-language texts for external communication and checking contracts with external service providers, MC & registering participants at various EuroCham events, etc.

Other tasks that may be required by the Services Coordinator.
Essential:
-
A demonstrated ability to adapt to different tasks and a strong willingness to learn.

High-level command of English and Khmer (written and spoken), with competence in drafting professional emails.

Strong planning and implementation capabilities with the ability to multitask effectively.

1–3 years of relevant experience in events, research, and/or consultancy.

Bachelor’s degree in subjects such as Economics, Business, History, or International Relations.

Strong sense of customer service to meet client expectations.

Clear and professional communication and writing skills.

Flexibility and professionalism in running and facilitating training sessions.
Desirable:

Knowledge of working with funding mechanisms like the Skills Development Fund (SDF)

Proficiency in tools for creating training materials, dashboards, and communications
-
Exposure to working in or with international or cross-cultural teams is advantageous
