BACKGROUND
EuroCham Cambodia was founded in 2011 by the existing French, German and British business associations to act as the official chamber of the European business community in the Kingdom. Since then, it has grown to over 425 members and 7 national chapters, comprising 23 European countries. EuroCham Cambodia's core activities are to promote, support, and represent its members and European business interests in dialogue with the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the aim of developing a more efficient and fertile business and investment environment. In addition to these core activities, EuroCham can facilitate further services to its members by capitalising on the expertise of their in-house communications, events, and services teams.
Position Summary
EuroCham Cambodia is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team. As Advocacy Coordinator, you will be repsonsible for key chamber dutes, including:
Policy Advocacy & Government Relations

Maintain and develop strong relationships with the Royal Government of Cambodia and other relevant stakeholders to foster effective public-private dialogue.

Support the Executive Director in written and oral communications (English) with ministries, government bodies, and institutional partners.

Participate in partner’s event and contribute to the work of other advocacy platform as prescribed by the Executive Director

Update EuroCham’s Live Advocacy Compass to reflect government responses, regulatory developments, and progress on EuroCham's advocacy priorities.

Undertake policy research and analysis to develop evidence-based recommendations on issues affecting the European business community.
Sector Committee Coordination

Manage and coordinate the activities of EuroCham’s Sector Committees (advocacy, networking, joint initiatives…), in coordination with EuroCham’s communication & event departments when necessary

Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, track action points, and ensure timely follow-up for committee meetings

Prepare agendas for advocacy and/or sector-based events
Publications & Proposal Writing

Lead or support the production of EuroCham’s key advocacy publications, including the White Book and Position Papers

Assist the Executive Director and the Services coordinator in drafting proposals for services
Team Management & Event Support
-
Supervise the Junior Advocacy Officer, including task delegation, review of outputs, and training.

Coordinate with the Communications and Events departments to plan and execute advocacy-related events such as forums, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.

Represent EuroCham in meetings and public forums when delegated by the Executive Director.
Other
-
Carry out other advocacy-related tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.

Monitor KPIs for advocacy work and outcomes to ensure strategic goals are being met and to support reporting and performance analysis.

Utilise CRM to manage and update committee lists.
Formation and experiences:
-
Bachelor's degree and in Law, Political-Science, economics, international relations or related field any related combined with at least three years of professional experience combined

Master degree in Law, Political-Science, economics, international relations or related field combined with at least 2 years of professional experience
Skills:

Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust-based connections with government officials, institutional partners, and private sector stakeholders to advance EuroCham’s advocacy objectives.

Excellent organisational abilities, demonstrated through effective coordination of multi-stakeholder meetings, timely follow-up on regulatory issues, and cross-departmental collaboration on events and publications.

Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing high-quality policy documents, position papers, proposals, and official correspondence

Confident oral communicator, experienced in public speaking, moderating discussions, and representing EuroCham in meetings and forums with professionalism

Advanced English proficiency. Working knowledge of Khmer and/or additional European languages considered a strong asset
