Phnom Penh, 3 August 2026 — At the heart of EuroCham’s advocacy work are 12 Sectoral Committees, groups of senior business leaders who sit at the intersection of private sector interests and government policy. This September, committee elections will determine who will lead these bodies for the next two years.
With nominations open and applications coming in, EuroCham has published a dedicated candidate profiles page, giving members their first look at the individuals putting themselves forward for the 2026–2028 mandate.
The page, available at eurocham-cambodia.org/committee-elections-candidate-profiles, brings together the profiles of all confirmed candidates in one location and will be updated regularly as additional applications come in ahead of the nomination deadline.
At the time of publication, candidates have stepped forward across EuroCham’s committees — spanning Agribusiness, Automotive, Digital & Technology, FMCG, Garment & Manufacturing, Green Business, Healthcare, Human Resources, Real Esate & Construction,Tax & Governance, Tourism & Hospitality, and Transport & Logistics. The profiles reflect the diversity of EuroCham’s membership, drawing from a wide range of industries, nationalities, and professional backgrounds.
EuroCham’s Sectoral Committees are where individual business frustrations, sector-wide obstacles, and emerging opportunities are brought together, discussed, and shaped into the collective positions that feed into EuroCham’s White Book recommendations and direct engagement with regulatory bodies. Over the past two years, that process has produced tangible results: the simplification of customs procedures for logistics operators, the ban on ring-pull prizes in the beverage sector in line with FMCG Committee recommendations, and the establishment of an official definition for “new cars” long called for by the Automotive Committee, among others.
Elected leaders — Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons — take on four broad areas of responsibility: engaging and growing their committee’s membership, setting and monitoring a strategic roadmap, contributing to EuroCham’s advocacy and White Book work, and shaping the committee’s events calendar.
Following the close of nominations, election meetings will be held in September, at which point members choose their representatives for the next two years. Newly elected leaders will then convene in October to launch their strategic roadmaps together — coordinating priorities across committees before the new mandate begins in earnest.
Members who have not yet submitted an application are encouraged to do so before the nomination deadline. Women leaders and SME representatives are especially encouraged to put themselves forward.
