TAX COMMITTEE
We’re delighted to announce the recent election of Ms. Chhiv Kimsroy (Tax & Advisory Services Director at Deloitte) as Chairwoman, and Mr. Clint O’Connell (Senior Tax Director & Head of Tax Practices at DFDL) as Vice-Chair of our Tax committee.
We’re sure that with their experience and knowledge of the Cambodian Tax structure the 2017-2018 Tax Committee strategy will be successfully carried out:
- Following up on the White Book policy proposals
- Creating new tax policy proposals whenever needed
- Organising tax-related events, including the next edition of our Tax Forum
- Maintaining open dialogue with the Royal Government

AUTOMOTIVE COMMITTEE
This year our Automotive Committee will be led by Mr. Michael Vetter (CEO of Porsche) as Chairman, with Mr. James Zemke (General Director of Mercedes Benz) and Mr. Peter Brongers (Managing Director of BMW Cambodia) as Vice-Chairmen.
The new Executive Committee will work on continuing ongoing dialogue with Government officials, strengthen collaboration with other stakeholders, and follow-up on the 2016 and 2017 White Book policy proposals.
Despite the challenging automotive business environment, we are confident the Committee will work closely with the Cambodian authorities and build upon existing efforts to improve the automotive sector.
