On 22 December 2021, EuroCham attended the official launch of “The Strategic Framework and Programs for Economic Recovery in the Context of Living with the COVID-19 in a New Normal 2021-2023". The event was chaired by H.E. Akka Pundit Sapheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance.

The above strategic framework and programs lay out roadmaps, strategies, and detailed action plans of the Royal Government, as well as responsibilities and timelines for specific ministries and institutions to support and promote almost every business sector in the Kingdom. The strategic framework is categorized into three different pillars 1) Economic recovery, 2) Reforms, and 3) Building Resilience.
Attaching to the framework, the Royal Government also plans to roll out another round of tax exemption for Tourism and Aviation Sectors, and a 250 million USD budget for a direct loan to Agriculture, Eco-Tourism, and other prioritized sectors via the SME Bank and the ARDB Bank.
