Meeting of the CARES Program's Private Sector Sub-Committee
On 25 November 2020, EuroCham attended the first meeting of the CARES program's Private Sector Sub-Committee which was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The Asian Development Bank will provide a loan of USD250M to address critical health risks and manage the impacts of COVID-19 through the implementation of measures to support the economic recovery.
During the discussion on key issues for mitigating impacts and preparing recovery, EuroCham expressed its support for the development of the green economy, digital economy, and the extension of tax exemption for the most affected businesses across multiple sectors.
