Former EuroCham Chairman nominated co-chair of GPS Working Group D

EuroCham Cambodia would like to congratulate Mr. Arnaud Darc, former Chairman from 2016 to 2020 and currently Chairman of the Cambodia Restaurant Association, on his nomination on July 5th as co-Chair of the Government - Private Sector Working Group D, led by H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth, Minister of Finance and Economy and Deputy Prime Minister. “We are very glad that Arnaud has been selected for this important role. EuroCham has very early on supported his nomination, given his great record of engagement for EuroCham, and on behalf of the whole private sector in Cambodia”, says Tassilo Brinzer, EuroCham Cambodia's current Chairman.  “Arnaud is always passionate about supporting the Royal Government in its ambition to expand the economy, while at the same time convincingly promoting European trade and investment values and the European community’s contribution to Cambodian development. I am absolutely sure that he will strive to bring his extensive experience in and understanding of the Cambodian socio-economic environment to Working Group D, too”, he says.

EuroCham Cambodia is pleased that the IBC will continue to administer the private sector secretariat of Working Group D. The IBC has tremendously contributed to helping the co-Chair and the whole private sector to input and administer their views vis-a-vis the Royal Government. "I am sure the current team at the IBC will continue the great work done in the past under its late Chairman, Bretton Sciaroni, who co-initiated this Working Group. EuroCham very much looks forward to working with Arnaud Darc and Working Group D in the future, and wishes him all the best for this new and exciting challenge."
