Here’s a sneak peek of the first day of EuroCham’s PowerPoint and Public Speaking training at Factory Phnom Penh, where 11 companies from various sectors, such as Tetra Tech, Cambodian Self Help Demining – CSHD, Cogetel Cambodia Lmited, HEKS Cambodia/EPER-Swiss Church Aid, ATS Cambodia, Indochina Research, CP Cambodia Co., Ltd., joined as trainees to improve their PowerPoint presentation skills.
Our trainer Mr. David Benaim mentioned that 95% of presentations are bad, 1% use SmartArt, and 40% of people use their total preparation time tinkering with the formatting of their slides. Benaim provided tips and techniques for mastering PowerPoint features such as using shortcuts to save time, using SmartArt for data generation, using better images in slide design, and implementing morph effects to create professional presentations.
Benaim then introduced a BAIT (Banter, Anecdotes, Interactive, and Trivia) trick for introductions and taught an elevator pitch game to create a unique self-introduction in just 30 seconds.
